Directions for Insomnia Indeed!Well i followed the directions to a tee and yes i do believe i have insomnia. I drank this at 10am yesterday and was up till 1:30am and then drank a few beers to knock myself out. Woke up at 6am this morning and could still feel it...went to work and now its 10:45pm again still dont really feel tired despite not having any caffeine at all today. I work 6 days a week so i believed that my body would run the course of this caffeine quickly but it didn't. If your going to try this coffee i suggest that you try using one Tbs per 6oz not two like the package says. Im a regular drinker of Death Wish and this stuff makes my death wish seem almost decaf by comparison. My friend said it felt like a kick to his face and he couldn't even finish one 6oz cup.5Good stuff!First of all, I do not like the taste of coffee. I drink it for the caffeine. I work security at night so staying awake and not jittery is important.- The taste, well, it tastes like strong coffee. I use cream and sugar so taste isn't a factor.- caffeine, it's THERE! I do not get the jitters with this. My go to drink (outside of coffee) is Redline. But that messes with my stomach. But not this Biohazard coffee. It is pricey, and I am still experimenting with blending it with Folgers. But I WILL be buying again.5good coffee but it is not a pound of coffeethis is damn good coffee but when i recived the one pound bagand opend it it looked like the bag was 3/4 full and i wondered what it really weighed so i weighed it with my shipping scale and it only weighed 11.3oz so no it is not a full bag or a full lb of coffee and for $20 i would exspect it to be closer to 1 lb so i ordered some death wish coffee and the bag was full and packed but death wish coffee is not as good both same price and supposed to be 1 lb so i weighed death wish and it did weigh 1 .lb 1 oz would rather have biohazard but not if it is not a true lb of coffee...3Was surprised about this one I review a lot of coffee this is one of the better onesThis is the second time I've received this coffee the first time it was good wasn't great. But this bag was exceptional great strong Bold Flavor very little bitter good after taste and it didn't taste burnt. Also shown me that a lot of these I guess is when you get them what batch of coffee you're getting. I think these companies selling these extreme strong coffees better worry about their consistency more than they are54 Stars for Product...Deduct 1 Star for WeightFirst thing is that I am 62yrs and started drinking coffee at age 9. Thru my teen and young adult years, coffee every morning. I still drink 3-4 16oz mugs of different brands of coffee every morning. Typically name brands out of Seattle and Montana. They have great taste but in regards to caffeine, I am almost immune to it's effect after all these years. Amazon suggested this and another brand that advertised high caffeine content. I read 928mg per what would be 1 of my morning mugs amount. Tried another brand that advertised somewhat close to this item, had zero effect! Zip, nada!! Tried this brand this morning with my usual 5 heaping tablespoons per 12oz water in the Mr Coffee maker. Came out nice and dark, the way I prefer coffee. No cr me or sugar, just make it where I cannot see thru the clear mug on sides and looking thru top at bottom. If it is only solid black, the brew came out right-on. This 5 heaps of product met that criteria. Then came taste test, no bitterness, just rock solid bean flavor. Had 1 mug and waited a few minutes. Thought it was in my head that I felt the caffeine coming alive. Then had a 2nd and 3rd usual large mug of the brew. That was at 06:30am this morning and let me tell you, after all the years of drinking brew daily, this is the real deal with the high caffeine content. It is now almost Noon and I am still buzzed by the effects of this brand. In fact, I will have to limit myself to only 2 tall mugs with this stuff. After the 3rd 16oz mug, I knew after a few that it was going to be to much caffeine at one time. I did get some jitters as if I took to 3-4 No Doze pills which are 250mg of caffeine per pill. I am totally surprised at the caffeine effects and that it is as advertised. My advice is only drink 1/2 of your usual amount at a time. This brew surpasses the effects of a Starbucks black coffee with 4 shots of Espresso! If you need a caffeine buzz, drink a couple mugs of this stuff! Deducted 1 star for total weight of product received. When weighed on accurate scale, it came in at 16oz, which includes the thick product bag. I would guess the thick bags weight at maybe 3oz, which indicates only 13oz, not 16oz of actual product. Other than that, it will take less product as I limit myself to 2 mugs not 4.4THIS STUFF BANGSSSS...WAY BETTER THAN DEATH WISH COFFEESince I could not get my hands on the other coffee brand "cannonball coffee", I decided to go for Biohazard coffee. I read about that some time ago and wanted to give this a try. As a coffee connaisseur and someone who enjoys the full black note of the coffee, I definitely was looking forward to this. Package came in as expected, the ground coffee however was slightly "rougher" than the normal grinds, but never mind. I brewed a can, had a good cup and after 20 min. I was wired. Literally wired, it has the same effect as if I had drunk 6 large Americanos at Seattle most famous coffee franchise (*cough* Starbucks *cough*) (given the fact, an Americano, large, has around 150mg caffeine). So (1) the effects are tremendously good, that state lasted me about 4 hrs probably, and (2) the taste was really good, only for people who enjoy really strong, and somewhat bittersweet tastes. Too bad that they don't come in K-cups.All in all, one of my favorite coffee brands, when I'm not eagerly to go all hyper, I just go for "Deathwish Coffee".Highly recommend for those who don't need cognitive enhancers and still want the benefits of a sharp mind with clear focus. MUST BUY.5Yup! It woke me upCan feel the difference in caffeine compared to regular store bought coffee or a cup or Starbucks- can't say much for flavor since I'm a cream and sugar gal but I'll definitely buy again!5... normally a DWC family but my husband and I easily go through a 1 lb bag in a week ...We're normally a DWC family but my husband and I easily go through a 1 lb bag in a week (Thanks small humans that we brought into this world). We were out of our usual and found this in the suggested products and I am not disappointed in the least. It is a different flavor than DWC but it's a good flavor nonetheless, and is much more potent than the Folger's we would have been forced to buy at our local grocery store. All in all I call it a win.5No flavor; it s warm water with a hint of coffee tasteThis coffee has zero taste. Even for a high caffeine coffee this is beyond a light roast in terms of taste. It s like drinking warm water. I even went as far as to use double the amount stated on the directions, and sure it will make you shake like you ve got hypothermia, but it tastes nothing like coffee. It s like warm tea water at best. Do yourself a favor and try death wish, or any of the other high caffeine brands on Amazon that blow this stuff away bc no matter how much caffeine this contains it s hard to choke down warm sugar water with a tiny hint of coffee taste. I ended up throwing it away after brewing 2 separate pots and having the same horrible results. Terrible product and a Waste of money. No way I d ever drink this again let alone purchase it. I m kind of surprised it s not actually made by Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts bc it s that level of quality IMHO. Sorry If my review seems harsh, but I m just being honest. I have no idea how this has such high reviews. This company has to be one of the ones that gives free products for positive reviews or just pays a marketing company to use bots / write reviews for them bc this product calling itself coffee is straight up laughable.1No one cup should have all that powerWell, to start, full disclosure: I am a caffeine ADDICT. I love coffee, but I might love the feeling of being good and caffeinated even more. I also spent a few years as a barista, so I've also taken my appreciation of good coffee to a nerdy, sometimes even snobby level.I found out about Biohazard during an internet search to find a high-caffeine blend to support my habit. According to the interwebs, Biohazard is second in the WORLD, only to a company based in the U.K. I was prepared to go big right off the rip with the high-octane blend from the U.K. company, that is until I realized that between the Euro/USD exchange rate and international shipping charges, their coffee ends up costing anybody in the states about $40-45/lb. I'd still love to experience what I'm sure is nothing short of a life-changing caffeine experience from their coffee, but my frugality holds sway. I mean, let's be real here; a triple espresso from Starbucks a day is probably cheaper than that. But I digress...I also need to stress that preparation methods can absolutely alter the taste and consistency of any coffee. I, myself, am a cold brewer through and through. So the day I received my pound of Biohazard, I fired up a small batch in my cold brew press and let it steep for the usual 18-24 hours.I had my first glass the next evening.First, let's talk real quick about beansThere basically exists 2 groups of coffee beans: The ever-popular Arabica bean, touted for its superior flavor and brightness, and the less-popular (and now, in my opinion, underappreciated) Robusta bean, which doesn't supply the same breadth of flavor, but absolutely dominates its counterpart in caffeine content. And honestly, if you're like me, eager to get your hands on a coffee blend with nearly 6x the normal caffeine content per serving, flavor is surely a priority, but it's not THE priority. On to flavorAgain, I am **strictly** cold brew, and different brew methods yield substantially different results. The flavor profile I experience is pretty pleasant. It's VERY earthy, though still carries a decent offering of acidity, which a lot of earthy blends do not. Little hints of cocoa, and almost a nutty undertone play throughout. Now, flavor-wise, the one detractor for me is the extreme earthiness. The only way I can describe it is if you've ever partaken of a really REALLY dark roast, like a French roast for example, that is so heavily roasted, it almost has an ashy taste to it. That type of ashy flavor is present here. Now, I know "ashy" isn't usually a great verb to describe flavor, but seriously, don't let it turn you off. If you rely solely on iced sugar-milk from Dunkin Donuts to obtain your daily caffeine, probably don't bother. But if you actually appreciate coffee for coffee's sake, this one does really have an interesting flavor profile to it.Now, as far as the caffeine buzz...I won't lie. That first cup was an experience. After about the 3rd sip, I could literally feel the caffeine start to work its way through my bloodstream. Is this what real-life Super-Saiyan feels like? I'd like to think so. But on the other hand, at the end of the day, caffeine is a chemical, a drug, and needs to be enjoyed responsibly just as any other drug. Plus, as I said at the top, I LOVE COFFEE. Therefore, I can't only enjoy it 6-8 oz. at a time, and as much of a caffeine-hound as I am, testing the limits of a coffee that has almost 1000mg/12oz serving of caffeine didn't sound like a great idea.So I came up with a solution to both: combining my Biohazard blend with another normal blend, less intense in both flavor and caffeine.Imagine, if you will, being at the gas pump with your car. You're used to the 87 octane. It gets you where you need to go, but always leaves you wanting more. You then notice that this particular gas pump gives you the option of fueling up with straight Jet Fuel. What a concept! My morning/afternoon commutes would never be so swift! But then logic sets in, and you appreciate the reality of the situation that putting jet fuel in your car would blow your engine and melt your gaskets. I GOT IT! I'll take the 93! Superior to the usual 87, and albeit a little pricier, but that's the price of superior performance! But then again, that's just me. If you wish to throw caution to the wind and ride the lightning in all its glory, you go right ahead. But please, for me, follow the cardinal rule of edibles: JUST TAKE HALF. Wait 45 minutes, then re-evaluate.Either way, give it a shot. If maximum caffeination with decent taste is your goal, you won't be disappointed.4
