Great night-time protein powderGood product in use. Taste is good. Casein is excellent quality protein (complete protein and highly bioavailable) and takes up to 7-hours to digest, compared with around 2 hours for Whey, 3 or so for eggs and meat, and up to 5 hours for Soy. I'm a dietitian, and Casein is the best protein for keeping you feeling satisfied at night and providing a source of amino acids for your muscles to keep repairing throughout the night. This is what I take in the last hour or 2 before bed if I want something to eat, often with a banana/apple and nut butter. 5AmazingThis an excellent protein powder from Six Star Nutrition. Very lean shake at only 120 calories, with only 1g of sugar! That's so low!! The taste of the triple chocolate is amazing, it taste just like a hot chocolate drink. I like to take this before I go to bed for the slow digesting casein protein and the extended amino acid release which comes with it. I am able to recover faster, and I am noticing more muscle building. I would recommend this to anyone! I also take it as a meal replacement before bed. 5Great ProductThe biggest advantage to this stuff over the product that I had been using is that it doesn't "clump" when mixing it without a blender...and because of that, it's very smooth.Also, it's lower in both fat AND cholesterol than the product that I had been using. The level of protein is on par with everything else that's on the market; but it is just a bit lower in protein than the stuff that I had been using (24g vs 26g). Even so, I'm sticking with this for now because of the ease in mixing it, along with the lower fat and cholesterol. 5It was in a ten can like a coffee can and it had a label on ...Years ago I use to take a optimum nutrition product called metabolic optimizer. It was in a ten can like a coffee can and it had a label on it with picture of atoms on front lol and it actually worked. I loved the taste and tecture of it. Almost powder not chunks of sand like the other over priced junk. The first tast of this casein i instantly new this had to be the good stuff . I have tried every protein there is all the over priced bullshit that I'm SICK of spending my hard earned money on. Well guess what. Screw U BSN, AND ALL YOU other OVERPRICED LOW QUALITY PROTIEN . All those outrageous prices. 60 TO 100 DOLLARS FOR 5 POUNDS OF DIRT CLODS IN A PLASTIC JUG. NO JOKE. Well guess what. There is a new dog in town and this is it. U can tell by the texture of this protein and the taste it's high quality stuff. THANK U MUSTLETECH for actually manufacturing a high quality casien and selling at a great price. SHHHH Trust me u will sell more. Give it time all the others will be left in the dust. I highly recomend this to everyone. In a casein product, I'm mainly looking for hunger control -- something that provide a steady dose of fullness and protein availability during the day so I'm not getting hungry when it's not time to eat. Using Six Star Casein twice daily (morning & evening), I'm not experiencing hunger outside of my planned meal times. The taste is great -- reminds me of cocoa, and the texture is full and thick -- provides a shake-like feel even when drinking with water. Mixed well with spoon or shaker. Tastes even better with milk. Great value; highly recommended. 5Chunky!This is the most disgusting protein powder I've tried. It's chunky and just doesn't dissolve well, even with a blender bottle. I hate that I wasted my money on this one, but that's the only way you'll know if you like it, is to give it a try. The whey protein isolate from this brand is good though. 1Thumbs up on this oneTaking this just before bed keeps my hunger under control and repairs my muscles while I sleep. I also like taking it when I know I have several hours between meals if I'm on a long trip or out fishing. Tastes pretty good, I mix it with milk and use the single ninja cup so it blends super easy. I'll throw some peanut butter in there every now and again especially if I need a quick breakfast knowing I'll be having a late mid morning meal--a banana mixed in works too. Anyway, great product, great price...can't complain about that. 5Great Price, but Misleading Serving CountThe price for this protein is excellent compared to other casein proteins on the market. I was a little hesitant to purchase this protein because of the overall marketing look and presentation of the products just looked a little too shiny and gimmicky. However, the protein tastes great, has low sugar (1 gram/serving), low fat (0.5 gram/serving), and low cholesterol (15mg/serving). I did notice it's slightly more gritty and doesn't blend as thoroughly as other proteins, but that's not a dealbreaker (I recommend to add water into your protein mixer first, add the protein, then more water after that - this will help it to mix more completely).So, after all the positivity, why the 3 stars for the Six Star Product? Currently, the title of this protein says it includes "26 servings" per container. When I received the container, the label clearly says "23 servings" on it (also seen in the photo I uploaded). While that's enough to knock it down one star, I'm taking off one more star because after counting the days I took this protein, I only had taken 20 servings from July 1st - July 20th until the container was finished. That said, it's still a great protein for the price, but I don't appreciate a title that is misleading customers and only providing 20 servings when it's promising 26 servings. 3The Perfect CaseinI have been looking for a Casein Protein Powder that won t have me feeling bloated so I decided to give this a shot. I was shock at the taste. It has a rich chocolate flavor. I have been using it for a few weeks and I must say I have notices a difference in my muscle soreness after waking up. I m still a little sore but it s nothing like before. The nutrients they use, really starts repairing your muscles overnight without becoming depleted. I highly recommend everyone to give it a shot. You won t be disappointed 5Ingredients are not the same on product as photosIngredient list on product is different from the picture. I m trying to avoid soy and the ingredient list says, contains Soy or Sunflower Lecithin. Which is it? I ordered this only because the pictures showed no soy because I am allergic. 1
