Poor quality Basket giftWhen you order something. you expect to give a good surprise to the person who receives this gift. Unfortunately, this was not the case. This fruit basket arrived with two spoiled fruits (look attached photo) which made the fruit basket appearance not so nice as the seller offers. Indeed, there was a large gap between expectation and reality. considering the price that I paid for this bunch of bruits (which the cost doesn't exceed 10 USD if I buy them in a market) I as a customer expects the best quality and appearance. I am disappointed with this service and if you ask me if I would recommend this as a gift I would definitely say don't buy this.1... saw 4/5 stars so thought this would be a nice gift for sympathyI saw 4/5 stars so thought this would be a nice gift for sympathy. It stated, very explicitly, what was going to come in the basket. There were to be ten pieces of fruit, cheese crackers and nuts. The person posted the gift basket on FB and said thank you but she didn't know who it was from because they didn't include a card. I knew it was mine, but the basket did not look full. I asked her what came in it and it was 8 pieces of fruit, some not listed, and cheese and crackers. No nuts. I saw a basket that had a ton of confetti and looked like the fruit was buried. It was quite embarrassing. I paid $50.00. Not thrilled. I would not order again. Does this look like the large, full basket pictured? Nope.1First Impressions...I have to say Im pretty disappointed in the product that was received. I hope this gets to the company, because I cant seem to find any other way to contact them regarding my disappointment. I order this product specifically for what the "product" labeled stated was in the basket as well as in the name "Fruit Cheese and Nuts." This was a mothers day gift, as my mother lives several states away. First the good: The speed/delivery was on par with my expectations of 2 day shipping as a prime customer, there didn't seem to be a delay especially given the fact that it was mothers day weekend. The package arrived on time. The fruit that was included was not bad or rotten or bruised. The bad: The packaging-Looked nothing like the picture, in fact, when I saw the pic, it look as if a lot of items was left out-and they kinda were. I ordered this particular basket because of the content stated to be in the basket-I expected the cheese and the crackers, the basket did not come with cheese nor crackers, instead it came with some dried fruit and chocolates in addition to a plethora of fruit. You had another basked that did say chocolate and fruit-which I did not choose because of the chocolate. My mother would have preferred the Cheese and crackers. A lot of the items were found under the "paper," that was stuffed in the basket. The fruit that was included was also not what was listed, however, I feel that 1 pear 3 oranges 4 mandarins 2 red apples and 2 green apples was suffice for the price, but again, when you expect something completely different it is a little disappointing. My mother seemed very happy with the basket and its contents until we asked if she received the crackers and cheese and the other items that I had expected to be in there, she then became pretty upset. I would appreciate a response, and hope that your company can remedy this. I could see myself ordering this item again in the future if given the opportunity, however, as a first time customer of your product I am a pretty dissatisfied customer.2Looks like trashLooks nothing like the photo . I waited to call my friend until the acknowledged date of delivery. As it turned out that was a day too late to save my friend grief.The reason for my three stars is that no gift card was available. Now, who the HELL buys a sympathy basket where a card ISN'T necessary? Get your act together Golden State Fruit. Don't think I'll use this company again.3
