Like a good mother - Warm and SupportiveThese definitely get the job done! They keep my elbow(s) supported on heavier lifts. I only use them on all pressing moves (bench press, shoulder press (both barbell and dumbbell) any somewhat heavy tricep work, etc.) not pulling moves (although that may help out certain cases).I also don't use these if I'm doing more than, maybe 12 reps, but when I'm doing anywhere between 1 and 9 or 10 reps I'll throw these on every time and they work super well. Some might say this is cheating cuz if you can't lift a certain weight without help then it doesn't count. I'd agree with that and these do add a couple a reps but I wouldn't call this cheating AND that's not the point of these. I'll use these to get stronger in the lower rep range and then not use them with that particular weight once I've gotten a little stronger. For example, I'd bench 225 for 5 reps WITHOUT these and the next set, after a 3 to 5-minute rest, I'd get 6 or 7 reps WITH these. Once I got to 10 or 11 reps WITH these I'd take them off and get 8 or 9 reps WITHOUT these. From then on I'd bench 225 without these and just repeat the process with 245. Basically, I'm just protecting myself when lifting heavy. You also don't want to baby your ligaments/tendons too much, where they're never under any meaningful stress, so that's why once I'm at 8 or 9 or 10 reps at a particular weight, I won't use these. I want them to be under stress so they can get stronger along with my muscles. I just don't want them totally unsupported when I'm trying to get 3 reps with 275, you get me?Lifting heavy puts a lot of stress on your body, including your ligaments, tendons, etc., and wearing these does 2 things.A) They keep your elbows and all ligaments and tendons in the elbow very warm = less likely to strain something.2) They provide a little extra strength to the elbow and ligaments/tendons during heavy lifts.Couple other things. These aren't SO "helpful" that I lose control over the weights. I still feel under total control of the weights when I'm doing dumbbell bench press or dumbbell shoulder press. Like I said, they add a rep or two, but they just support you like crazy. One note on sizing. My arm measures 12 1/4" around the elbow and XXL fits me perfectly. XL would be UNCOMFORTABLY tight. I take these off between sets anyway cuz they're just the right amount of tight.Last thing. Don't wear these where the seem is ON the elbow. I like the seem to be running across the top of my forearm that way the elastic wraps all around your elbow more thoroughly.Hope this helps. 5Best all around wrap there isHelped my tendonitis immediately. The wraps are made out of a great material too, it keeps compression tight throughout my workouts but did not construct or interrupt my movements at all. The material also appears to be very durable. I ve had issues with stretching these types of bands out over time but this guy retained its shape like a champ. Also, for the price point I don t think there is a better deal around. I m comparison the Slingshot band, which is about double the price for a singe, wore out in a week and did not keep pressure during workouts. If you re like me and have severe tendonitis from years of abuse these wraps are a must try. 5Great quality and does the job!I purchased these to relieve forearm tendonitis when I am working in the yard or lifting weights. Most bands on the market are too narrow and bulky to be comfortable, these are wide and thin but still provide great support. You could easily wear them under shirt sleeves if needed. The size chart is right on, I measured my elbow at 11.75" which is at the high end of an XL, the size I ordered. Fits very snug, good for weight lifting where more support is needed for a short time. For longer term wear I would have gone up a size to get a little more comfortable fit (but with less support of course). Overall I am very happy with the purchase. The only thing I would change is the advertising printed on the bands, would prefer just plain black. If you are looking for tendonitis relief like me, try these bands! 5Worked great for a weightlifter with golfer's elbow painI don't write a lot of reviews, but since they're the primary influence on anything I purchase online, I feel compelled to let others know that the elbow compression sleeves worked great for me. I've been a weightlifter for 20+ years, and every now and then over the years I've had elbow pain that has slowed me down for a while; specifically, the underside of my elbow bone and joint (which I believe is often referred to as "golfer's elbow"). My historical go-to has been rest, compression sleeves, and a reduction in the weights I would use. The only type of compression sleeve I've ever used has been those that cover the bicep and extend to about mid-forearm. They worked fine, but I never really felt like the compression was as concentrated on my elbow as it could/should be; in order to get good elbow compression, I was forced to compress my entire arm. From the moment I slid these sleeves on, I've thought "Why couldn't I have known about these years ago?" Simply put, they've worked perfectly for me. Just to be clear, they're not a miracle cure, but they DO allow me to continue my workouts at full strength and pain-free; which essentially means I can workout and rest my elbow tendons concurrently. I would recommend these elbow compression sleeves to anyone looking to mitigate elbow pain due to tendon inflammation/irritation. Regarding sizing, like most others who have left a review, the sizing suggestions recommended by the seller (Grip Power Pads) worked for me. 5Word up, good compression sleevesI have tried the slingshot brand elbow cuffs and they were decent, but a little pricey for just an elbow support. I lost one of them and needed a new pair and found these here. I can tell you by just trying them on that they are good of quality as the Slingshot brand ones, but less than half the price for a pair of them. I get elbow pain from lifting and these definitely keep that ache out during and after my workouts. 5Does what it's supposed to and then some... Highly Recommended.I've been struggling to train due to tennis elbow issues over the last couple of months. I've tried VooDoo tape, ems, massage and it's slowly coming back. The problem is that I haven't been able grip with my right hand due to this which means no training and hooking your fingers for pulling exercises and an open grip for pushes can exacerbate the issue. Carefully read reviews of several products and this compression sleeve stood out for the following reasons. Reasonably priced and length, which is 1-2 inches longer than most. Well, I received them today and immediately put them to work. One thing I had noticed that was an issue while training was elbow instability while performing bench and military presses. I didn't go too heavy as I haven't trained them in a couple of weeks, but I pushed it to failure and I didn't worry about instability. Felt pretty close to normal. Lets not forget the issue of pain. While it didn't relieve 100% of the pain, it was very close. Felt just a hint but so much better. I highly recommend the bands. Can't wait to get back at it tomorrow! 5Perfect fit, great qualityShort story long, I've been fighting tendonitis in my forearm from bodybuilding for a couple months. Normal tennis elbow compression cuffs are too narrow and don't provide enough support or grip good enough to use during a workout. Purchased these as an alternative to the very expensive powerlifting brands like Sling Shot. These cuffs fit exactly to the sizing chart, so don't be afraid of getting the wrong size. Just have someone help you take measurements. The quality of the material is evident, very similar to Spud or other high end brands. They stretch just the right amount and hold firm while lifting. The width and shape helps hold them in place without slipping much. The compression from these cuffs has helped me tremendously to reduce the irritation in my flexor carpi radialis tendons. As an added plus, they double as elbow compression cuffs when doing heavy presses, so you can squeeze out that last couple reps with your heaviest loads workout sacrificing elbow stability. These are not going to be the most comfortable thing in the world...they're designed for compression and support with short intervals of use in mind. The material is surprisingly smooth though considering the strength.I highly recommend these, and think they're a great replacement for the more expensive brands without sacrificing quality one bit. 5These are as good as the big name brand cuffs, but a fraction of the price!I bought 2 pairs of these at one time since they were half the price of other brands, and a quarter of the price of one pair of Mark Bell's elbow cuffs. My elbow measurement was between 10.75" relaxed and slightly more than 12" flexed, so I purchased one pair of black Large cuffs, and one pair of camo'd XL cuffs. Honestly, the smaller size is slightly too tight to keep on for longer periods, but would certainly work well for heavier lifts. The larger size (XL) cuffs slip on a little easier (still fairly tight) but are NOT uncomfortable to continue wearing for several minutes (or in between sets). This material is stiffer than Mark Bell reactive slingshot material, but it has more give that the material that his original slingshot has, so they should hold up excellent over time. Other cuffs I've tried are made of the stretchier material (like Mark's reactive slingshot) and they break down in about 2 months only lifting 3-4 times a week. I never wear these types of cuffs for an entire workout, I pull them down to my wrists during water breaks or between sets. Also, I have these cuffs in different colors so I can grab a specific size quicker and easier without having to check out the tag for sizing. Two helpful points that I've found about using these types of cuffs in general....first off you WILL lift slightly more weight (plus better control) with one rep maxes during chest and shoulder presses if you wear these on the tighter side, and secondly, using cheap copper compression sleeves under these cuffs will aid in removing and reinstalling them without ripping all your arm hair off. These work well for dips and tricep extensions too. 5Best elbow cuff for the best pricing aroundTo initially start off, elbow cuffs were on my list to purchase because I've recently been having this tenacious elbow pain when doing dips, overhear tricep work or even push downs, so my workouts and health felt like it was taking a toll. To ease this, I knew that compression cuffs can provide extra support, maintain heat and compress on the affected area and take the pressure off my elbow joint when exercising. These Grip Cuffs were fantastic! The neoprene material is great quality, they fit super snug and do the EXACT job I was hoping for. Little to no pain when working out, they help my keep my intensity up and I never hit the gym without them in my bag. This is a NECESSITY for any lifter with an elbow tweak or even a preventative, guaranteed! 4Good support and excellent priceI have used them now for 2 workouts and really like them. I have tendinitis (golfer's and tennis) in both arms and these really helped. I didn't feel any discomfort during the workouts while using them for pushing (OHP, Bench) and pulling (Rows, Pullups) but there was, however some discomfort after. I have tried all kinds of elbow sleeves (Stoic, Rehband) and, while these help, the Grip Power elbow compression sleeves are better. For tendinitis, I'd rate them based on effectiveness in the following order: Grip Power > Stoic > Rehband. If you have elbow tendinitis, either medial or lateral, I'd give them a shot. I did and, considering the price, couldn't be happier. As for sizing, I followed their sizing guide and they fit perfectly. Overall, great product. 5
