Favorite Keto MeterI've been on ketogenic diet for the last 2 years, and have used a few different meters. This one is my favorite so far.It's accurate ( images one and two show my morning ketone readings 9 min apart), easy to use and test strips are reasonably priced. Test strips itself are high quality and absorb blood sample very fast, this helps prevent error readings and waste of strips. To avoid "E02" error do not touch arrow area of the strip when inserting it in the meter. {The seller's video shows how to do this ) The meter doesn't need to be calibrated or coded.I bought another meter as a gift to my friend ,who wants to try Keto diet.I decided to check how new one works. Very close results on the image were taken from the same drop of blood.Update: before KetoBM one of the meters I used was Keto-Mojo . ( KetoBM is easier to use especially for a new user) I compared them both and got identical results from the same drop of blood.5Easiest Device to Test for KetonesThis is the easiest device I have used. I tried another meter but it needed to be calibrated and some solution was required. This meter is ready to use out of the box and the lancing device is great, can barely feel the needle. You get your results fast, and painless!!5Works greatThis is perfect better than strips! Very accurate.Update: 6/12/19I have used this meter for quite some time. I got the free box of strips for doing the review too! The problem is it stopped working accurately! For the past two day I have gotten three different readings in less than 2 mins. I loved it when it first started using but now I feel as though its a giant fail! I'm going to email support and see what they say. The readings appear to be very accurate and give peace of mind that you re still in ketosis. The first time I used it, I got an error code, but it s because I don t follow directions very well. When putting the blood sample on the test strip it needs to be placed on the very tip, not smeared on the top. I would also suggest starting out with a lower or mid level on the poker. I started on 5 and it didn t feel so awesome, but the next time I turned it to 3 and it worked like a charm. I still gave ease of use 5 stars because it is very simple to use if you read, and follow, the instructions.5Not accurate or consistentThis product is unfortunately wildly inaccurate. I tested three times in the space of a couple minutes to test consistency and the numbers were radically different every time (.05,1.1 and 2.7) . Really a bummer because I wanted to love the product and had already purchased additional lancets and testing strips before I started to feel like the numbers were incorrect. So that s money down the drain. Would not recommend.1KetoBM is BM allright...This product is awful and the company does not answer Emails or give a damn.The kit arrived incomplete without the lancets. It did come with test strips but 7 of the 10 did not work and gave the famous E02 error even though they never got wet.I figured no problem, I'll contact them and they will ship me more. Then contacted customer service through the KetoBM web page and never heard back.Thanks for nothing, KetoBM!1It works very well!I decided to purchase a blood ketone monitor after I started getting negative results every single time with my urine test strips. Fearing not being in Ketosis anymore, I decided to go with KetoBM because it was cheaper than the other brand on Amazon. As soon as i received it I tested my blood and I got a 2.1 reading, well within the ketosis range. I'm throwing away my urine strips and sticking to this blood monitor for now on. Its very easy to use and it only took 10 seconds.5Works Great!I have been using the KetoBM ketone meter for a couple days now. At first, I had some failed readings. I emailed the seller and they credited me back for the lost strips! They also walked me through using the meter properly and it turns out the errors were my fault. You don't need a lot of blood but you do need to have a good drop to get a proper reading. I have since used about 10 strips and have had great results!5Accurate and AffordableBought this to replace my old meter because I got tired of overpaying for test strips. The replacement strips for this are much more affordable. I was worried that the meter might not be as good but surprisingly it works better. It requires less blood and the lancing device is easier to use. I did a few side by side tests with my old meter to check it for accuracy and got the same results. Should have bought this sooner.5
