Good Thai teaI've bought a few of these and find them rather tasty, I usually make 2 quarts at a time using 2/3 cup tea + two cardamon pods slightly crushed, steep for 10 minutes then add sugar to taste, I use 2/3 cup sugar. I've used some other brands offered on Amazon but find this one the best.4GreatLove this tea. I use my coffee press to make it5Missing Ingredients - 5% SugarThis product does not list sugar as an ingredient on the Amazon product page, and it does not list sugar in any of the product images that show the ingredient list. Also, one of the Amazon sellers replied to a question about if it was sugar free, which they replied Yes, it's sugar free (see screenshot).I received the product today and it shows 5% sugar in two spots (see photo).1The real Thai Tea! Finally figured it itThis is 100% the same Thai Tea that I purchase weekly for $3.75 at 7leaves cafe. I can't believe I figured it out Now I get Thai Tea whenever I want. There is a girls blog called "white on rice couple" that's does an authentic recipe for brewing and has the proper amount of sugar. 1 cup tea, 4 cups boiling water &. 3/4 cup sugar poured into the boiling water. Steep the tea for a min. Of 30minutes to get best taste. This is SO GOOD. So glad I purchased this will be buying more again & again.5Tastes JUST like restaurant Thai tea!!This stuff is no joke!!! It's SO SO SO good :) Tastes EXACTLY like Thai iced tea at my favorite Thai restaurants. I bought a tea jug from Target & boiled 8 cups of water, added 1 cup of leaves, reduced heat to medium-low & waited two minutes. Stirred in two cups of sugar & let cool. I also purchased the tea sock that was recommended & used this to strain my brew into the tea jug. I filled a tall glass to the brim with ice, poured the tea over the ice, and drizzled evaporated milk over the top. DELICIOUS!!5GOODGreat! Tastes just like the thing!!!The dye is a little gross and can make the whole process messy (if any of the lose tea gets wet it leaves a bright orange puddle!! im not sure if it stains but if you get to it asap it comes up), mess aside its worth it. Still tweaking the recipe a little, but its good, and will save you some cash if you are like me and go out for your daily coffee/milk tea.I noticed that that if I let it steep too long it gets sour, so don't let it sit for longer than about 30-45 minutes, from there I pour it out through a tea strainer, lined with a coffee filter, as some of the grain is so fine it slips through without a paper filter. Here is my recipe16 OZ Iced Thai Milk Tea (STRONG)4 TBS of lose leaf tea into 1 cup of hot water (let steep for 15-30 mins)3 TBS sugar1-2 cups of ice1/4 ratio milk at the end (almondmilk or soy)(poor milk very slowly to create Ombr separation)5Awesome. Just like you get in the restaurant.Awesome. Tastes just like it does in the restaurant. Here is the recipe that I've been using with great success.Glass Jug or other container that won't stain or absorb smellsEnough Cups of water to almost fill the jug2 Tablespoons of Thai Tea per Cup1/4 Cup of granulated sugar for every 2 Cups of water (I like "sugar in the raw")Boil water and then add tea using thai tea filter (I use the one from Cornucopia. Available on Amazon). Brew tea for 5 minutes (7 minutes for strong tea). When tea has finished brewing add sugar and stir until it is all dissolved. Allow to cool before putting in glass jug. Store in refrigerator until cold. Serve over ice with a little half n half poured on top.5Great taste, lots of caffeineGreat taste that I can't find with regular black tea offered in local stores. There's definitely that "it" component that is hard to put my finger on but stands out subtly but just enough. Careful with how much you drink in a day... it's very caffeinated. I made a strong batch and watered it down with water and ice but must have not added enough. It gave me the jitters and I'm someone who can drink coffee at night and still sleep. Overall delicious and different. Worth the money! Try it out!5Just like in Thai restaurants...Wonderful!!!!I LOVE Thai iced tea and would go to a Chinese restaurant nearby that sold it when I wanted my "fix" of it. Unfortunately when I visited Thailand I didn't know about this wonderful tea, but these leaves make tea that tastes exactly like the tea I get in the restaurants. After reading other reviews from especially a couple people from Thailand who said this tea was authentic, I bought it, and I am not disappointed at all!I looked for a couple recipes online and the first time I made it, it was SUPER strong. I did about 3/4 cups tea leaves to 5 cups water, but it should probably be about 1/2 cup leaves to 6 cups water. I reused the leaves to make a second batch with I think 4 cups water, and then froze the leaves again. I'm SURE they can be reused at least once, maybe twice more, as well. So it seems expensive, but if you reuse the leaves, it works out to be a great deal, especially compared to buying it by the glass at a restaurant. YUMMMMMMMMmmmmm!!!!!5It's so easy to make your own Thai iced tea at homeIt's so easy to make your own Thai iced tea at home. I use this to make it by the quart: steep for as long as you can, add sugar, sweetened condensed milk, regular milk (or cream, or half and half) and ice and drink up! Note: steeping for at least 30 minutes before straining makes a huge difference in the flavor. I usually just start a pot of it in the morning and strain it in the afternoon, the longer steeping time gives it a nice strong backbone of flavor.5Easily found the conversion for making a single glassEasily found the conversion for making a single glass, which is a sticker on the back towards the bottom. I got my 13yo hooked on it as well. The aroma when brewing smells like vanilla cookies baking! We add milk and stevia and its DELICIOUS! Iced or hot it's a lovely beverage that hits all the right flavor notes. Smokey, sweet, creamy... definitely going on my favorites to buy again!5... hoping to replicate the Thai iced tea from my favorite Thai restaurantI bought this hoping to replicate the Thai iced tea from my favorite Thai restaurant. This product tastes exactly like the one they use. It seems like everyone has their own recipe, and the instructions on the bag don't make sense. I ended up using a few different recipes and decided I had to just try it and see.12 Cups water6 Tablespoons tea1 C sugarBoil water, add tea and let sit for 10 mins. Strain through sock strainer, mix in sugar and then chill. We use sweetened condensed milk for the tea, but use whatever you like. Delicious!Unfortunately all these teas seem to have artificial coloring. I don't like that, but for an occasional treat, i've decided I can't stress about it.5the BEST tea EVERSuper smooth flavor with or without sugar/milk and either hot or cold. Glad my daughter brought it back from Thailand so we could experience the taste and flavor and then order it thru Amazon!!5Thai tea!I ve looked everywhere for a tea that had great reviews and stopped looking once I found this one. It s a nice big bag, very easily brewed and I brew it in my coffee maker I add 2 tsp of tea into the brewing cup and 1 16oz water bottle and once it s done I add 3 to 4 spoonfuls of sugar. I combine this with half and half milk and some ice and wow does this Taste like I m at a restaurant. I absolutely love it!!! It was delivered on time and I ll be purchasing more again!5
