Adhesive & paper not neededI wish they'd make these with out the adhesive and paper covering it. I'm bed ridden and put them in and pull them out of my bladder control underwear. Really dislike that feature. I've gotten paper cut down there !3Great pads for my incontinent Maltese...I use these as liners the Tinkle Trousers I use for my dog's incontinence. I have a Maltese that seems to pee his body weight every day (no joke...you wouldn't believe the puddle he can produce in the yard), and these Tena pads hold an absolute ton without leaking. He can go from 5am until 2pm sometimes when I need to be away from home, and though the pad is full, not a drop is spilled, so they are definitely VERY absorbent. I thank heavens for the price on Amazon, or else I would be broke buying these.5These work well for incontinence. We have been using these pads for my 95 year old mother hat has some incontinence issues. We use these pads for daily use rather than the diaper type because they are so much easier to change if she has an accident. They have good coverage and are very absorbent. Generally, we need only to change the pad and don't have to do a total change of clothes5I love these padsI love these pads, but I received Tena Intimares instead, I do not like these as they do not hold the water as the Tena up above.5Best diaper out there. Great brand.I have a paralyzed dog, and use these for him. We have tried several brands, and these work the best for us. I love them. They dont irritate his skin, absorb brilliantly and are the best price out there. We purchase these every month with a subscription. I highly recommend these. They work much better than poise...I have found the quality with those is variable.5HOLDS UNBELIEVABLE AMOUNT OF LIQUID WITH NO LEAKS!!!!These pads are unbelievable!!! I can't believe how much liquid that they hold with NO LEAKS. There is no comparison between Tena and Kotex, Tena holds many times the liquid that Kotex holds. I am an elderly person and when younger thought Kotex was the only pad and on a whim decided to try the Tena brand about a year ago and couldn't believe the difference in quality. I will continue to buy Tena and I think anyone who will give Tena a try will join me.5Not so muchTake this product label with a grain of salt. These are Not as long as one might wish for large or heavy people, especially when considering the nighttime. Average size people may be more satisfied.3Let's be frank here...Okay, if you are looking at these products, you probably are not going to be offended by the honest factsabout the use.I have been trying to find a decent replacement pad since Tena changed their formerly-wonderful ultra-thin heavy padsinto the medium-absorbancy "Anywhere" (also read "useless") pads. I keep trying different sizes among the heavy or ultraabsorbancy, but haven't found one that I like nearly as much. These pads are okay. Just okay. They are of course, long, like the package states. That works out great, because face it - leaks like to run backwards many times, and you can have a dry pad and a wet spot on the back part of your underwear because the leak went right past the pad. So, it catches most of those.I've had MULTIPLE times that these have leaked on the SIDES of the pads, requiring a change of clothing. They also like to "wad up", not fully sticking properly to the underwear, especially if you sit in an office type chair a lot, as I do.The covering on the pad is not nearly as nice as the former ultra thin pads. They can be irritating to the skin down there, and has also caused some breakouts. While I wouldn't think a pad would be an irritant, these often are.But my biggest complaint about these pads is that they are HOT!! They are thick, there is ZERO air circulation of any kind down there while wearing them. I've had my upper thighs break out from the pads rubbing on them, been sweaty not because the room is hot, but because it is creating a heat source down below from the thick padding! Right now, it is winter time so it is not as bad as it could be. I could never wear these in summer! These might work well for some folks, but not so great for me. I have to "rearrange" them all the time, like every time I pull up my pants. The pad never wants to just stay put without a hassle. No, it doesn't move around on your undies - it just causes the undies to be crooked when you pull them up, because they are so thick they don't ever lay right. If you are very thin (which I am not), don't mind sitting on a thick pad, and would appreciate the extra body heat from them, then by all means, try them out. For me, I am back to searching for a decent, thin, absorbant pad. I like the Tena brands, but all their changes in 2013 were NOT for the good, and have made most of their products undesirable to me. I would not reorder.UPDATE 2016:I have found one other pad that is as comfortable as the former Tena pad and about as absorbant.I ended up trying them by accident, because the store was out of the one I normally get, and hubby brought home the new pack instead of nothing! I tried the Poise brand Ultimate extra long overnight pads. They SOUND huge, but they are pretty much like the FORMER Tena pads in size and comfort. They have an elastic side that doesn't chafe your legs, and they've done a fairly good job of holding/catching without too much overflow. I have to say that overnight would be a stretch for most women, but I've only had a couple times I couldn't make it to the potty in time (blame new kittens attacking feet) - the pad overflowed and a shower was necessary. :-/So, for those wishing they had the former Tena pad absorbancy and comfort, I think the Poise Ultimate overnight long pads (look for the number 6 on the package!) come pretty darned close. They come in a cute pink wrapper, which is a nice change from white plastic. They are not quite as thin as the former Tenas, but they don't chafe, stick well to the panties, hold quite a bit and are comfortable to wear. That might be the best we can expect, especially when companies are not listening to feedback from their customers.3I don't care for the INTIMATES. They hold less ...I don't care for the INTIMATES. They hold less moisture than the INSTADRY or the HEAVY LONG from previously. and too wide.4More money for less protection. The attendants in the assisted facility where my sister lives let me know NOT to buy this product again ! I usually buy Poise, but I decided to try these as they were advertised to be much more absorptive, they're NOT. They leak badly in the center of the pad & along the sides. The attendants said there's plastic along both sides & that's where the problem arises. And because they're more expensive than the competitors, I'm more than happy to purchase the Poise product again.2
