Good foot size and supportI'm 5' 8", 160lbs, shoe size 9D, medium bone structure.Unfortunately, these socks come in only one size, as most of these "comfortable" socks do.I tried them on before washing...Wow I thought! Good foot size and support, easy on the ankles, and calves,thought I had found the perfect sock!Then I washed them, warm water. Size reduced drastically and are now perfect for someone who wears a size 8 shoe, but, since they stretch they are still wearable for a size 9, like myself. If you are a size 10 shoe you'll feel that they are "smallish" after washing. If you wear a size 11 shoe, forget it! Listen up sock manufacturers: Stop reducing the length and width of socks to make a few extra pennies per sock...that's not how to grow your businesses!! Pre shrink your yarns, and offer larger sizes, and stop calling just comfortable sock "Diabetics sock"...most of us just want comfortable socks, because those you sell in "department stores" are a joke...boys age 10 couldn't fit into your "men's" socks!3easy to put onI found these to be soft and elastic, easy to put on, I stayed up well without strangling my calves.4Yummy SocksI am a woman who has been desperately seeking a soft sturdy non-binding pair of socks forever. Even though these are long socks, coming to just under my knee, they do not bind at all on my calf and also fit my foot perfectly. The color is as pictured. The soles are a bit thicker and very soft and comfortable as well. These are just what I wanted and I am very happy with them!5Best diabetic socks on AmazonI've been ordering different brands of non-binding socks from Amazon for a few years. Most have been low quality, either in material or longevity.These socks, however, are easily best I purchased from Amazon. They are very soft, especially on the foot bottom and the top band. I like them so much, I've bought 5 2-packs to replace all my other diabetic socks. Highly recommended.5Great socksThese socks are the most comfortable and best fitting socks I have purchased in a long time, sizing is right and there has been minimal srinkage in 3 washings. In my estimation, these are light to medium density socks.5Sorry. Great Socks. Bad PackagingIt may seem strange to see these wonderful diabetic sock with only a two star rating. I would have given five or even ten stars, if I could, if not for one thing. The way they were packaged. Top Flight may make great diabetic socks but they apparently don't realize that diabetics always have hand problems the older that we get due to neuropathy. We have trouble with feeling things and gripping tools. So, when I saw that the two pack socks were held together with those tiny, horrid plastic ties that went through the cardboard, through the socks and through the cardboard on the other side, I could have cried. Of course I completely ruined one pair of socks trying to open the first set.. Later my wife came to my rescue and opened (not without difficulty) the other two packs that I bought. Please Ms. or Mr. Top Flight. Please change the packaging on this product. I am sure there are many other diabetics out there, who don't complain to you about this, who would be very thankful.2Ok, but still not lose enough at the topI have big calves so most socks dig in and I find them a uncomfortable. I had a brand that was great but I havent been able to find them (all day socks was written on them?). The ones I liked were cushioned at the bottom but thick like normal socks and had no elastic at the top. I gave these a three, they are quite confortable and don't feel super tight, but they still dig in around the top so you an see some marks on my legs at the end of the day, they are a fairly thin mesh, you can see my fingers through the sock, so with the wrong shoes they don't offer much protection against blisters. Overall better than most socks but not perfect.3The Right Sock...The feel, the fit, and the support were wonderful! Not having diabetes but some fluid, these sock were the right purchace.5Tried these and to my surprise they feel so good. They have a lot of cushion and do ...I stand all day at work and my feet have been hurting for a long time. Was wearing the cotton crew socks but they were cutting into the calves which made my feet hurt even more. Tried these and to my surprise they feel so good. They have a lot of cushion and do NOT cut into my calves. I just reordered more.5They are well made and comfortableThese are not the cotton. They are polyester spandex and nylon as I recall. They breathe well and very comfortable.I am going to order 1 pair of cotton to compare but I have a feeling I will like these better. My only complaint isthey put a nylon peg to hold 2 pairs together together. It a pain to squeeze them tight together and remove the nylon.I slightly damaged 1 pair separating them. To the seller or MFG - They do not have to be squeezed so tightly together, geez lighten up.Update 11/30/18 the polyester ones pile. After three washes its very noticeable. I think its partly due to wearing them without shoes on carpeting. I only wear them with shoes now or otherwise they would be ruined. I also bought cotton as well and they wear fine. It appears a switch to cotton would be the smart choice. Will update in time5
