Customer Reviews

Love it, but check out the fool-proof brewing method. This is a rich, full-bodied coffee that does not get lost in creamers and flavor enhancers, like hazelnut or vanilla. Although, I have found that to get the proper 8 oz. cup of coffee from my Senseo machine, the best method is to dispense the coffee in 2 steps, using the single cup button twice. That works perfectly every time. When the Senseo pods were no longer available, I searched long and hard for a suitable replacement before I found this product. Now that the Senseo pods are available again, I'm not sure I want to return to them again, and they're currently more expensive than these. I love the fact that these pods are individually wrapped and their price point is acceptable... still much less that the Keurig option. And, I'm not sure why, but I just love the dense espresso-type foam on the top of each freshly brewed cup!!5it's easiest to just rip open the bag and pour it in the cup and use like regular ground coffeeI found these at a price MUCH cheaper than K Cups for my Keurig machine. Since these aren't K Cups you need the reusable cup for the machine, but each of these pods is the exact right amount of coffee for the reusable cup. After a couple of tests, it's easiest to just rip open the bag and pour it in the cup and use like regular ground coffee. The fact that these are individual sealed makes each cup fresh, especially when you may only drink one or two cups of coffee per day. It is a hassle to have to clean out the reusable cup, but the price makes up for it.5I have used my Senseo for about 10 years and I still love it. You get foam on the top of ...It's a shame that this product has so many one star reviews from people who bought them thinking they were buying K-cups. These coffee pods are for Senseo coffee makers, NOT Keurig. These are NOT K-cups, they are coffee pods for a machine that makes pressed coffee. I have used my Senseo for about 10 years and I still love it. You get foam on the top of every cup. Personally, I enjoyed this flavor. However, use 2 pods if you're making more than the 2 cup setting. Otherwise, it's a little weak. I like using one pod in the one pod holder for each cup. I also like that they are individually wrapped, so that they stay fresh.5Delicious! Using with My K-CupFor some reason they are no longer making Wolfgang Puck Hawaiian Hazelnut K-Cups, my absolute favorite flavor. After I got over my shock and sadness I looked around at other options and found these. 54 pods for $20? Yes please! I put the coffee into the My K-Cup attachment for my Keurig and brew that way, and the taste is the same (if not better) than the K-Cups were!A disclaimer: I still have no idea what these pods are actually meant to be used in. I didn't even know what I was getting when I purchased it. At first I thought it was just loose coffee inside individual packages, which is close but not accurate - inside the package is the loose coffee inside a filter.I first tried to just stick the filter and coffee in the My K-Cup, and the result was pretty watery. So then I decided to rip the filter open and dump the loose coffee into the My K-Cup. This works great, although it takes 1 and a half packs per My K-Cup, so just keep that in mind if you are purchasing these!4Where have you been all my life <3This is my first time using single serve coffee pods. Its just been full carafes until now. I love this flavor, the convenience, and easy clean up. I just got a coffee maker that allows you to brew a full carafe, or single servings, and am happy to have found these pods to use in it. We've barely used the carafe since these came in. And willI buy this brand again, once we 've gone through all 72 pods? You bet I will!5Great coffee pods for hard to find Senseo supplies (Senseo, the Betamax of coffee machines). It is a bit more pricey than orignal Senseo brand pods (still cheaper and faster than Starbucks), and despite the premium brand name, the coffee is great. Each WP pod is labeled and wrapped so it wont lose flavor if you are a slow drinker or take them on the road. Also, each pod is WELL Packed with coffee so you can use a Single pod for a Double cup, or more if you wanted ligher coffee. You can fit the pod in the single or the double tray (I shove it in the single, no issues), it hasn't leaked, but it is a tight fit. The pods decompose, you can compost them, so no guilt. So far no complaints with any of the WP's pods. If you like smokey coffee, try the Sumatra Kopi Raya. Why do people even use sterile plastic K-cups? These are much better.5Similar to Senseo's Paris French Vanilla, just not as goodYou may be able to tell from the title for this review that I enjoy Senseo's Paris French Vanilla coffee pods. I decided to try Wolfgang Puck's caramel creme in my Hamilton Beach 1 cup pod brewer because the Senseo brand has been unavailable for quite some time. Unfortunately, Wolfgang Puck's version is not as good.If you prefer a strong cup of coffee this brand will most likely not satisfy you. Also, the Hamilton Beach Pod Brewer does not make the crema layer that a lot of people seem to like, so I don't know if this brand will do that well or not. I drink my coffee weak -- not super strong -- but also not watery. My daily one cup of coffee is a treat I allow myself and I enjoy the French Vanilla and Caramel flavored coffees. Also, I use a smaller coffee mug (it holds at most 8 ounces comfortably) so I don't need a lot of coffee but this stuff is extremely weak (even for me) and I have to be sure to use **no more than** 6 ounces of water with this brand, otherwise it is just too weak and watery to be palatable. Again, if you use a different pod brewer you may get different results.I've also tried Wolfgang Puck's French Vanilla flavored coffee pods, but I find that flavor to brew up even more weak and watery than this does and it has a very "acidy" aftertaste which aggravates my heartburn -- I have not had that problem with this flavor (Caramel Creme.)If you want a larger, stronger cup of flavored coffee, you might be able to make this work better for you by using 2 pods with 12 ounces of water (the maximum amount for the HB Pod brewer); it just hasn't worked out for me. Using 12 ounces of water and 2 pods seems to more than double the strength of the coffee and it comes out stronger than I like. Also, I really only want 1 cup of coffee for my morning "ritual" so the rest is just wasted.3Love the coffee but not the leaky podsI really like the coffee but have one complaint - I have a SunCana coffee maker which clogs periodically if there loose coffee around the pod. Usually I will be 1, maybe 2 pods in an order that case this problem. Not really a big deal as I clean out the input mechanism and I'm good to go. With this order, I've had 5-6 pods, so far, that have been ripped, causing the coffee to leak out and jam the input. I ended up using these with my french press but was, unpleasantly, surprised to have this many problem pods with a couple boxes to go. Assume its just a QC problem when packaging.3Great coffee pods for hard to find Senseo supplies ( Senseo, the Betamax of coffee machines)It is a bit more pricey than the orignal Senseo brand pods (still cheaper and faster than going to Starbucks), and despite the premium brand name, the coffee is great. Unfortunately, this is not as good. This review is mostly for those people who like a light to medium strength coffee, not the hard-core espresso drinkers. I drink my coffee weak -- not super strong -- but also not watery. My daily one cup of coffee is a treat I allow myself, and I use a smaller coffee mug (holds up to 8 ounces comfortably) so I don't need a lot of coffee, but, this coffee is extremely weak (even for me) and I have to be sure to use **no more than** 6 ounces of water with this brand, otherwise it is just too weak and watery.I've tried using 2 pods at a time to see if that would help but, oddly enough, even with 12 ounces of water per cup the coffee comes out too strong for my taste. Plus, I just don't need or want more than one cup of coffee each morning.I've also noticed that this coffee has a very "acidy" aftertaste and tends to severely aggravate my heart burn which is not normally bothersome for me if I have only one (or rarely, two) cup(s) of coffee. I also have had this problem with 'Folgers' brand coffee (the regular loose coffee) that we use in our large coffee maker if someone other than just me is having coffee. If you want a larger mug of coffee, you might be able to make this work for you by using 2 pods per mug of coffee. It's just hasn't worked out for me.Note: I have also tried Wolfgang Puck's "Caramel Creme" flavored coffee and it is a bit smoother without the acid aftertaste. The caramel creme is much more like Senseo's Paris French Vanilla, but it still only makes a 6 ounce cup of coffee.2
